In Charente Maritime, the owners, welcome you to Château Mouillepied, built in the 15th and 18th century, restored keeping in character. It represents modern comfort in the countryside in the middle of Romanic Saintonge, 30 km to Cognac and Atlantic beaches.

On the ground floor of our beautiful stone mansion, we have public lounges where our guests can relax around the fireplace. The orangerie opens on to the peaceful and wooded landscape of the Charente. You can choose your favourite tea or herb tea from a wide selection, enjoy a cup of coffee or some soft drinks : they are free and available in the evening. Having a real pleasant environment we provide a lot of information about tourism in this area : fishing, hiring, going for walks, visiting vineyard.
