La Colombière

Originally built in the 17th century, La Colombière is a unique old “mas” as they call it here in the Provence.

It has recently been restored and is situated right behind the Chateau de Saint Laurent in the middle of olive groves and lavender fields.
The attached pigeon coop gave the building its name and adds to the charm of this traditional Haute Provence farmhouse.

Located in the natural park of Verdon, Saint-Laurent du Verdon is a sleepy little village far away from busy roads but conveniently located in reach of all the attractions this beautiful area has to offer.

A short winding path of about 1 km through neighboring fields brings you to one of the many lakes in the area where swimming and boating can be enjoyed. If you wish you can also start many hikes through the Verdon Natural Park right from our door step.

Not far from snow covered mountains to one direction and the blue Mediterranean sea to the other, La Colombière du chateau is conveniently located for the outdoor enthusiast.

Nature walks, hiking, bird watching, biking, boating, rafting, motor-bikingor just simply exploring the villages and their treasures are just a few of the activities that await you. If you wish, we can guide you into the right direction or even join your excursions.
