Bed and Breakfast "Jean Coste" is admirably situated for exploring the Languedoc and the Cathar region, rich in medieval history. We are 50 and 40 minutes drive respectively from Toulouse and Carcassonne - the ideal is to visit Carcassonne, then navigate the Canal du Midi, and finally taste the wines of Corbières and Malpere, or else simply to soak up the French atmosphere in a local bar.

An hour and a quarter drive to hike or ski in the Pyrenees in Andorra. There are many caves nearby: Lombrives cave (the Cathar might be hidden there) And Niaux cave where you can find prehistoric paintings dating back to 12,000 BC.
