Domaine Les Faures

Our house is a recently-converted ancient farm with timber framing and stone walls. In the spacious barn, adjacent to the main house, we have installed and furnished cosy guest-rooms, kept pleasantly cool in summer by the thick stone walls.
The guest-rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. One guest room also has a bath. There is a shared living room for the guests. There is also the added convenience of a little kitchen.
Outside you can sit on several terraces and there is a barbecue. You can refresh yourself in the swimmingpool.
From our house you have beautiful views to the hilltop ruin of the medieval fortress of Cancon, to the valley and lake of Lamouthe-Basse, through the plum and hazelnut orchards and the age-old huge trees of the Chanteclair park, across the undulating landscape, with here a small Romanic church and there an old windmill.
