Nestling behind a discrete blue shuttered façade in a little street in the old village of Tautavel, at the foot of the castle ruins, is “ L’Ile aux Mimosas”, our delightful B&B made up of several 18th century vineyard buildings. The rear of the house opens out onto a terrace overlooking the gently sloping garden leading down to the swimming pool. Whether it be in the shade of the old fig tree, or at the edge of the swimming pool, calm pervades these old stone buildings in the heart of the village.
