In one of the most beautiful parts of Burgundy lies L'Orangerie, a comfortable country house with secluded garden and swimming pool, set in a peaceful valley of meadows and vineyards.

There are five charming bedrooms, individually decorated with prints, paintings, oriental carpets and antique pieces. All rooms have en suite facilities and direct-dial telephones.

A bright, elegant salon is at the disposal of guests. Here you will enjoy a generous breakfast, as well as, by prior arrangement, a sumptuous dinner.

Your hosts, Niels Lierow, from Germany, and David Eades, from Ireland, will give you a warm welcome and will be happy to help you to make the most of your stay.

L'Orangerie is the perfect base from which to explore the scenic, architectural and gastronomic riches of Burgundy. We are within easy reach of Autun, Beaune, Cluny and Tournus, and less well-known gems of Burgundian life such as Brancion, Cormatin or Germolles. Cyclists will be delighted by the "Voie verte", a specially conceived bicycle path along the former Givry-Cluny railway, which leads through lovely countryside and is very close by.
