La Pichellerie

We welcome you to our home in the heart of Normandy, in the department of L'Orne.

Set in a small hamlet just 3 km from the medieval fortress town of Domfront, the bedrooms face south, overlooking beautiful rolling countryside. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, WIFI available.

The area is steeped in history and there are many places of interest and beauty to see.

Drive through the shady Foret d'Andaines and visit the pretty spa town of Bagnoles de L'Orne, see the 'Grande' and 'Petite' Cascades at Mortain . Tour the Cider Museum at Barenton. See the old town of Fougeres with its medieval chateau or the abbey at Mont St Michel.

There is golf, fishing, cycling, walking, horse riding, rock climbing and canoing all close by.

Our rates for bed and breakfast are as follows:

€50 per double or twin room
€60 for the family room (sleeps 3)

€25 for single occupancy
Evening meals are available at €15 per person and light suppers can be provided at €10,00 (please book in advance). On warm evenings, dinner can be enjoyed on the terrace whilst watching the sun set over the valley.

We are within an easy drive from Caen, Le Havre, St Malo and Cherbourg and are well placed for stopovers for those travelling from the ferry ports to the South, and for those looking for property in an area within easy reach of the south coast of England.
