Bed and breakfast Les Cessenades is situated on the edge of the Cevennes National Park in Lozère, country of sources, shale and chestnut trees, on 24 hectares of nature, in the hamlet of Cessenades, at an altitude of 500m.

Our Bed and breakfast consists of two former farmhouses overlooking a courtyard. From under the pergola you can enjoy stunning views of the wooded hills with a beautiful South-South East exposure. Our rooms have a typical Cévennes character: exposed beams, natural stone walls, chestnut furniture designed and made by a local artisan. All bedding, bed linen and towels were replaced in 2014.

On the property you will find fruit trees, chestnut groves and Mediterranean-style vegetation. Within a 10-minute walk from the house flows a river where you can swim. Many nice hiking paths are available for young and old.

For a very special experience, you can stay in a large family yurt or in one of our two gypsy caravans.
