Near the city but without the noise, 10 minutes from Avignon and 20 minutes from “Pont du Gard” away, in the heart of Provence the “Lou Souvadou” is a small piece of heaven for those who stay there.

Sauveterre is a charming, provencal village far from the city noise. You stay in an old Provencal farmhouse equipped with all modern conveniences, a beautiful pool and a stunning view over the Rhone Valley, “Mount Ventoux” and the “Dentelles de Montmirail”.

This B&B offers 2 individual rooms with private bathrooms, plus a small room without bathroom for children (wc to share), and also a 4* reception by Françoise and Michel.The toilets are shared.

You’ll perfectly be situated to visit the vineyards of the Rhone Valley and the famous wineries of Chateauneuf du Pape or Tavel. The summer shows of the “Avignon Festival” and “Orange’s Choregies” are close too. You’ll be able to admire the wonderful sites of the “Baux de Provence”, Saint Rémy de Provence, Arles, Nimes, the Luberon villages, etc… But also to visit the picturesque markets or just relax in the sun besides the pool sipping a cocktail or glass of vine while preparing the itineraries with our hotes.

You’ll have the pleasure of enjoying your copious breakfast while listening to the cicadas in summer and breathing in the exceptional perfumes of the flowers in the garden.

The area is well served by the T.G.V. (in Avignon) or by the airports (Marseille, Nimes, Avignon, Montpellier,…) Of course it helps to have a car (Rental at the airport and train stations).

The only concern with the “Lou Souvadou” is that, when you come one time, it is hard to leave.
