Favone is a small seaside resort in the south of Corsica, in a splendid gulf, ideally located 8 km from Solenzara, 25 km from Porto-Vecchio, 40 km of Bonifacio, without forgetting the Alta Rocca famous for the Bavella peaks.

Gil and Geneviève Castellana used to own a hotel-restaurant, are the owners of this family house. They decided to let nature express itself here, with its garden of 3000m2 full of Mediterranean plants.

The completely integrated swimming pool will enable you to relax in this haven of peace, and the pergola will invite you for a moment of reading in the shade of rose trees, jasmines and wisterias.

You can walk to the beach in 7 minutes, to relax on the fine sand or on the deckchairs of the private beach 'Siesta', in the shade of parasols to listen to the undertow.


We have 2 Suites:

Suite “Pignottu” (44m2) – near the swimming pool, entirely air-conditioned, with natural colors and materials. High standard equipment, with ancient sheets carefully chosen by the hostess on a flea market, an independent bathroom and WC, a living room with flat screen TV, an equipped cooking corner (Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, fridge…) . A safe and a wifi connexion are at your disposal in the room.

Suite “Alimea” – garden view (30m2) entirely air-conditioned, high quality equipment, with ancient sheets, safe, LCD TV, open bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC, Hair drier, Bathroom linens, Dressing gowns, “Casa Nera” bathroom products, Nespresso coffee machine, Kettle, Fridge, Board and iron, Wifi at your disposal in the common parts
Terrace – Independent Entry – Private Carpark in the garden

From the terrace of the living room you can enjoy wonderful sunrises.

Breakfast with sea view, refined earthenware, old silverware, hot drinks, homemade jams, Viennese pastries, breads, organic fruit juice and local cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruits, cereals…


You can order a picnic basket to take on your daytrip in the mountains or on the beach.
