Relaxing holiday in the beautiful nature of Elsass Rheinauen – Weinberge – Vogesen

in a lovingly rebuilt old monastery in idyllically, calm countryside near the German border and 30 km south of Strassburg
Our house is located in a calm area in the small and peaceful village Zelsheim.
Right on our doorstep you can find plenty of possibilities for walks or hiking tours, Canoe outings in the Rheinauen, Europapark (10 km), great cycle- and inline rides (100 m away from the house), fishing (100 m away from the house). In particular for nature lover we suggest a trip to the conservation area (Rheininsel) nearby.

In a few minutes time by car you reach the Alsace wine route. Scores of villages invite you for a stroll and nothing can get in the way for a wine tasting at one of the winemaker.

Only a stone´s throw away, you reach already the romantic Vogesen with abundance of hiking options and in winter this area provides numerous of ski slopes.
The „Route des Cretes“ offers a glorious view over Elsass-Lothringen….. If you prefer more the city life, no problem! E.g. Strassbourg, Selestat, Colmar are inviting for a stroll or for a shopping spree . But there are plenty of other things to do. E.g. Funpark Europapark in Rust (Germany) to canoe Castle Haute-Koenigsburg bird of prey demonstrations butterflypark Monkeymountain… Or you just want to relax? To chill out on the sun terrace in the garden Depending on how you feel; you have the choice between a large number of activities or you just take a break from everyday life. We are available at all times for any questions e.g. the region, activities etc.
You can experience hospitality and family-run house.


Living: Room moine: 1 double room (bedsize: 160 cm) with TV/Internet per cable, shower/toilet and hairdryer 60€ per night

Room soeur: 1 single - /double room (bedsize: 180 cm) with TV / Internet per cable,
shower/toilet and hairdryer, 80€ per night

Room clocher: 1 double room with TV/ Internet per cable, Bath/Toilet and hairdryer , price like sister room

Room eveque: 1 Suite (2 double rooms) with TV / Internet per cable, shower/toilet and hairdryer, 120€ per night

or rent the complete house for max. 10 people (minimum stay 3 nights. 250€ - 290€ per night.

Further we have following common areas, if you book a room: a kitchen (incl. cutlery and crockery for 10 people, dishwasher and washing machine). a fenced in garden with garden furnitures, Barbecue area

The use of our heated outdoor pool (seasonal) is for free! Opening hours 10h-19h30.

You have the possibility to book the use of our wellness area (sauna, whirlpool, crosstrainer) for your whole stay and all persons for 10€ per person and day! Kids from 0-16 years are not allowed in the wellness area!Opening hours: 15h30-19h30

Minimum stays: mid-june, july and august, mid september 7 nights, eastern, Xmas and new year 5 nights!

Coffee and tea is available for free in the kitchen!
The baker s car stops in the morning around 8h direct before the house (not sunday and holiday).

french breakfast: bread, Croissants,jam, nutella, juices, butter from 8 am – 10:00 am The breakfast we serve in our dining- living room. Price: 10,00€ per person and day, children up to 6 years free You have to book breakfast upon reservation of the room! If you reserve the whole house as holiday house breakfast is not available.

OR

SERVICE FILLED UP FRIGERATOR AT ARRIVAL: At your arrival the frigerator is filled up with juse, milk, butter, cheese, sausages, etc. If reservation of room 12€ per person, if reservation of the whole house 50€ total.
Please book the filled up frigerator upon reservation of the house!

The entire rate is due upon reservation. With successful payment, the room is firmly booked and therefore binding.
Please appreciate that in case of no-show within 8 weeks of the day of arrival we will charge the full rate.

Toddlers (0 – 4 years) with brought child´s travel bed are free. (some equipment for infants e.g. highchair)
socialized and well behaved and trained dogs accepted (not in monk room). We charge € 10,00 per day.
Please bring your own food, blanket or basket for the dog.
