The cottage is rustic stone farmhouse situated in the South East of Britanny, in a quiet rural area between Chateaubriant and Vitre in a picturesque village.

This farm is built with stone, straw, mud and wood. It is 300 years old.

It is a beautiful house in a quaint village with 6 acres of land surrounding.

It is an ideal location to visit Brittany, Normandy, The Loire Valley by car or escape noisy cities and pollution.

Le Breil is 3 KM away from Martigne Ferchaud with it's church, Boulangerie, restaraunt and supermarket. It is 2 hours 30 minutes from Paris by TGV fast train. It is a region full of chateaux and fortresses.

There are three bedrooms and can accomodate 5 to 6 people.

All bedrooms are located on the ground floor as there are no stairs.

There is 1 bathroom only. The living area is 100 square meters.


There are many things to do, many cities to visit, many chateaux and fortresses. There are a lot of parks, water parks zoos, garden golf, horse riding, cycling, walking is very popular. Visiting historic part of France all within driving distance on traffic free roads. There is also a market with local products and restaurant in the charming rural area.

Owner's Profile:
The owner lives in Sydney Australia and goes back to France twice a year and stays at the gite. Mr guy boulet is the manager of the gite.
