Sainte Anne

Mouzay is a small village, close to the medieval town of Loches, within reach of many of the Loire châteaux and the vineyards, which produce some of the country’s most famous wines.

Set in a pretty garden, Sainte Anne dates from 1850 and is typical of the style of that period.

We have restored it carefully to provide every comfort and to keep as much of its original charm as possible.

The cottage is independent of the main house and has a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere about it.

We have paid particular attention to the interior decoration and details to make the cottage as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

The kitchen has a decorative, stone fireplace and is well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, oven and hob, fridge and microwave and enough of everything for eight people. The main room has two sofas, satellite television and DVD, internet connection, a dining table and a hatch through to the kitchen. There is also a downstairs wc.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds that can also be made into a double bed, both with en suite bathrooms with shower. All the bedding is new and a cot, highchair and baby bath can be provided on request.

The gite has its own little private garden with garden furniture, sunbeds and a barbecue, plus parking space in the courtyard. The village has a children’s play area, a football pitch and a lake stocked with fish. There is also a covered swimming pool, 2 kms away, open all year round.

The gite can also be taken on a Bed and Breakfast basis when available at €90 per night for a double room, breakfast included. Dinner on request at €18 per person, wine and coffee included.
